I would imagine that if I asked you to tell me a story of someone who has challenged you in your life, you would tell me of a person who cared about you enough to see your potential, and helped you see that in yourself.
Recall the definition of an Everyday Leader: An EVERYDAY leader is a person who THINKS more about the needs of others than themselves, SPEAKS with integrity and ACTS with purpose, consistently, positively impacting the lives of others EVERY DAY!
The last statement of that definition could not be more apropos for this chapter. We’ve been walking through the eight commitments of Everyday Leaders, and now we’re going to discuss commitment six: Every day, I will seek and develop potential in others, including myself.
